Camel Station in Dubai is a casual all-day dining brand that welcomes the whole family for tasty, crowd-pleasing food in a relaxed setting.
The design of the restaurant is refreshingly modern, in contrast to some of Dubai’s more fine-dining restaurants which favour traditional interiors. With large glass windows and minimalist furniture, the space feels bright and buzzy with plenty of room for larger groups to gather in.
At the heart of the space is a pizza oven which churns out deliciously charred and smoky dishes throughout the day and provides a good dose of theatre. Watch as the chefs spin and throw pizza bases in front of you, or tackle the heat to roast the perfect Kunafa – a Middle Eastern specialty of noodle-thin pastry wrapped around cheese and dressed with honey and nuts.
Elsewhere you’ll find all kinds of plates to suit everyone, from the smallest diners right up to the grown-ups. Expect the use of trendy ingredients which come in the form of things like a black charcoal bun stuffed with a sumptuous patty, topped with roast sweet potatoes and rocket. Everything here is given a bit of an indulgent twist, even the sweetcorn is charred and blackened for a wonderful nutty flavour, before being smothered in cheese and spices for a moreish side dish you won’t be able to get enough of. While burgers, pizzas and kebabs are some of the hero items, there are also some more unusual serves on the menu; like lobster with a buttery baked potato or loaded potato fries dripping in colourful toppings.
Camel Station is open every day between 12pm-1am, so whatever time of the day you fancy a bite to eat you can grab something in this cool and contemporary restaurant – from lunch right through to late night eats after a few drinks in the city.
