Mediterranean flavours inspire the menus at this serene restaurant within the Abu Dhabi EDITION hotel. Situated in the downtown district on the waterfront of Al Bateen Marina, the Abu Dhabi EDITION boasts three signature restaurant, including Alba Terrace – a beautiful all-day restaurant created by acclaimed British Chef Tom Aikens that offers top-quality organic coffee, biodynamic wines, light lunches and sharing plates to indulge in at all hours.
Located on the Marina side of the hotel, Alba Terrace is a haven for hotel guests and visitors throughout the day. Inside is smart, sleek and comfortable, while out on the terrace diners can enjoy the lush greenery that surrounds each cosy booth. All menus are designed by Tom Aikens, who was the youngest British chef ever to be awarded two Michelin stars at age 26, so whether you’re stopping by for brunch, lunch, some small plates to nibble on before dinner or dinner itself, you’re in for a treat.
Drop in for the Cabana Brunch (available Sunday-Thursday) and enjoy a selection of lights bites including wagyu beef sliders and fried calamari, and unlimited selected drinks. Or perhaps you need a spot for a business lunch, in which case the special two- or three-course set business lunch menu is ideal. Fridays see the all-day plated brunch kick into action, for which there are three different price points depending on whether you want to include bottomless drinks. Elsewhere, the all-day dining menu includes delights ranging from breads and olives to soups and salads, charcuterie, pizza, pasta, risotto, fish, meat, and sides.
Alba Terrace is a lovely spot for a drink too, thanks to the large brass-clad aperitif bar. In the morning the scent of freshly squeezed citrus fills the air, only to be replaced by the tempting aromas of small plates and the promise of an Aperol or two.
