Solo Italian Restaurant & Bar brings a taste of Italy to Dubai’s Raffles Hotel.
The restaurant offers a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine, celebrating the diverse range of food offered by regions across Italy.
Open daily for dinner from 6pm, Solo is a relaxed yet ambient setting to enjoy delicious food, freshly made in house. Their menu transports diners through Italy’s culinary regions, starting with a range of fresh salads and antipasti, including tuna carpaccio, bruschetta, and burrata with heirloom tomatoes. Main course stand-outs are wagyu rib eye, breaded veal rib chops and sea bream in papillote. No Italian meal would be complete without pasta and pizza, and Solo offers a wide range of options for lovers of both, such as penne arrabiatta, seafood linguine, and veal pappardelle, as well as a range of classic pizzas.
The modernisation of traditional Italian dishes at Solo is clear on their dessert menu. Desserts include a yogurt panna cotta with Morello sour cherries, and mixed berries with an almond biscotti covered in a chocolate balloon. For diners seeking the more traditional, there is also a classic tiramisu and various flavours of gelato on offer.
Solo’s seriously wide-ranging wine list celebrates Italian wine and prosecco, but also features a range of wines from across the world, so there is something to suit every taste.
Solo also offers an earlier sitting for their ‘Pizza & Pasta Fiesta’, serving all you can eat pasta and pizza from 5pm to 7pm, at just AED 89 per person.
For brunch lovers, the ‘Solo Gusto’ brunch is served on a Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm, a streamlined version of their dinner menu designed to be shared, served family-style.
Solo has a children’s menu for both dinner and brunch sittings. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available, so there really is something for everyone at Solo Italian Restaurant & Bar.
The bar at Solo is also open from 6pm, serving a signature range of cocktails inspired by the tastes of Italy. The bar remains open until 1am, perfect for after-dinner drinks.
