Sat in the Raffles hotel, Azur takes pride of place on the third floor overlooking the Raffles Garden, serving up a combination of Pan-Arabic and Asian dishes as well as an international buffet breakfast. The interior is minimalistic, with white walls, chairs and a white lighted pillar in the middle of the room. Decor is limited, minus the impressive wine rack that’s been mounted on the wall, with full focus on the selection of food on display throughout the day.
There are a variety of international specialities available, as well as healthy, vegan and vegetarian options, and plenty of locally inspired items.
For breakfast options, you can find a combination of cold buffet options, and cooked breakfasts like a full English, pancakes and waffles. Then for lunch, the buffet is split between a variety of cuisines, so you can head to the seafood section if you’re after some langoustines with a squeeze of lemon, or if you’re after something warm to start your meal, then head to the hot mezze area for some falafel and dip.
Main courses take you across the globe from giant burgers that you take by the slice, curry with rice and roti, and even a choice of roast dinners available on Sundays with a choice of meat, large yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings.
For dessert, you can then find everything from fresh fruits to cheesecake and cake with ice cream.
