Bringing the heart and soul of the Italian Riviera to Dubai, L’Amo Bistro Del Mare is the sort of chic seaside dining that Dubai does best. You’ll find this beautiful restaurant in Dubai Harbour, where Mediterranean plates accompany lovely views of the Dubai skyline, and of yachts drifting in and out of the Marina.
L’Amo Bistro Del Mare boasts smart, elegant interiors that match the prime location nicely. Inside there are pressed white tablecloths on each table, and the large room has towering ceilings and huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The floor is all terrazzo, with a colour palette of cool greys and blues that ties the restaurant nicely to the sea outside. Speaking of outside, L’Amo Bistro Del Mare also has a large terrace area that will likely be popular on cooler days.
A centrepiece of the dining room is the large fresh counter, where you can choose your meal from a wide array of fresh fish and seafood, cooked whole to order. Alternatively, dive into the menu, which features a range of luxurious pasta dishes and main plates, as well as an enormous caviar selection (we count eight different types at the time of writing). Dishes include John Dory fillet in lemon butter sauce, grilled Wagyu ribeye on the bone, spaghetti with clams, squid and bottarga, and roast octopus with potato cream and olives. Desserts keep things traditional, with the likes of rum baba, tiramisu, and profiteroles.
There’s also a separate bar area where you can relax with a pre- or post-dinner drink. L’Amo Bistro Del Mare has a huge wine list, featuring plenty of Italian wines as well as other bottles from around the world.
