About

Jun’s by Chef Kelvin Cheung is a restaurant, cocktail bar and terrace in Downtown Dubai specialising in Asian-American fusion cuisine. Whether it’s a major celebration, business lunch or somewhere to catch-up after work with a cocktail, Jun’s offers a modern fine dining experience that’s guaranteed to add a special touch to any occasion. With a menu that’s designed to be shared by everyone at the table, a killer cocktail list from a team of award-winning mixologists and fantastic views of the Burj Khalifa while you dine, this contemporary restaurant is sure to impress guests.

Kevin Cheung is the head chef and partner at Jun’s where he brings his love for global cuisines and flavours to his eclectic menu. The Chinese-Canadian chef spent a huge chunk of his life travelling and cooking in kitchens around the world. At Jun’s, he draws inspiration from his Chinese heritage, his North American upbringing and his French training, while focusing on using the freshest ingredients from local farms.

The menu comprises a range of large and small sharing dishes, from hot and cold ‘littles’ to grills and ‘not so littles’. For example, you might choose to start with the likes of chilli chicken made with kashmiri chili, boriva chili, szechuan peppercorn and jalapeño, or rainbow heirloom carrots with smoked labneh, soy honey butter, candied walnuts and sourdough. Grills comes in the form of wagyu steak tataki with yuzu, ssamjaang, pickled shallots, jalapeno and heirloom tomatoes, or miso chilean sea bass with patagonian toothfish, togarashi miso and lemon emulsion. There’s a huge range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes too, ensuring there is something for everyone.

Expect a pretty mega drinks list featuring carefully curated cocktails inspired by Asian flavours, groovy wines, and locally roasted espresso. There is also a selection of sake, beers, spirits and a good range of whiskys.
