Wise Kwai is a restaurant serving Thai street food in a relaxed setting inspired by vintage cinematic culture. Thai chef Jet Thaenphromrat heads up a kitchen of Thai chefs, who prepare traditional dishes from scratch using the freshest ingredients.
Wise Kwai serves a range of Thai classics, including Pad Thai, Khao Pad and Pad See Ew, as well as a range of curries and seafood dishes. The stand-out dish on the menu has to be Pla Thod Nam Pla, chunks of fried fish on a bed of a whole fish, with a mango salad on the side. Desserts on offer include the traditional Thai dish khao niew ma muang, sticky rice with mango.
The restaurant offers alcohol-free dining, but this doesn't mean its beverage menu is lacklustre. There are a range of Thai iced teas and herbal hot teas available, as well as twists on mocktails with Thai-inspired ingredients, including the Thai-jito and the Thaipirinha.
As well as all-day dining, the restaurant also offers cooking classes, giving guests the opportunity to learn how to make the traditional Thai dishes they can enjoy at the restaurant from experienced Thai chefs.
There is also a business lunch set menu available, with a two-course meal and drink for just AED 69 per person, with favourites from the main menu on offer, including Thai green curry and stir-fried beef in oyster sauce.
Wise Kwai also offers a range of promotions throughout the week, so there is always a deal on offer for diners. Monday night is Thai Curry Night, and an early bird dinner is available every night of the week, with a three-course meal for just AED 59 per person. There is also a deal for groups available nightly, with a range of sharing dishes suitable for three or four people available for AED 249.
