Tucked away in a hotel garage on the edge of Dubai’s sprawling coastline, The MAINE Oyster Bar & Grill is a Seaside Brasserie that has won multiple awards and accolades over the years including ‘Best Newcomer’ from What’s ON Magazine 2016, ‘Best Seafood’ from BBC Good Food and ‘Best Restaurant Bar’ from TimeOut.
As an expression of his North American roots, MAINE Founder, Joey Ghazal, is serving up a slice of culinary nostalgia for those longing for an honest dining experience devoid of any pretentiousness or gimmickry. Blending a post-industrial brasserie aesthetic and meat packing vibe, the room has a retro-vintage feel with a laid-back New England Extravagance.
Of course no brasserie experience is complete without a glistening exhibition kitchen that anchors the room serving live lobsters, seafo od towers, fashionable crudo and oyster galore. Boasting crowd-pleasing brasserie fare the family style menu runs the gamut from steaks and chops, to fresh fish and seafood, to pot roasts and steamers, bolstered by a slim unpretentious wine list. The long-bar at The MAINE attracts an eclectic crowd of young urbanites downing good old-fashioned cocktails by the bucket at the best cocktail bar in the Dubai.
