Twiggy’s is a Mediterranean beach club and restaurant at the Park Hyatt Dubai Lagoon. Open every day from noon until late, it’s a glamorous spot for those looking for a place to chill, drink, dine and have fun. It comes from the team behind established culinary spots La Cantine du Faubourg, Ninive and Lana Lusa.
Twiggy’s is, in fact, named after the sixties fashion icon of the same name, and you can expect stylish, retro decor to match. Occupying a covered alfresco terrace, with wicker lampshades, beachy wooden tables and chairs and amazing views out over the blue lagoon, this sun-dappled spot promises chic and chilled vibes all day long. Dine on Mediterranean plates while kicking back to an upbeat soundtrack, as you gaze out over crystal-clear waters in the distance.
The menu focuses on fresh fish and seafood and is injected with plenty of South of France soul. While great attention is placed on using exceptionally fresh ingredients to create every dish, from its seafood platters to its selection of sashimi and sushi. You might choose to start with pesto marinated squid with tomato and herbs salsa or wagyu beef carpaccio with rocket leaves and shaved parmesan. Of course, there’s plenty of fresh seafood and caviar if you’re feeling decadent, or you can enjoy a selection of rolls from the sushi bar. For main course, discover a range of grills and pasta dishes, such as fresh tagliatelle with stracciatella cheese and caviar Oscietra.
On the drinks front, signature cocktails include a selection of light and summer creations, such as a Garden Spritz (St Germain elderflower liquor, rose lemonade, violet liquor, Prosecco) and a Libertine (Cachaca, passion fruit purée, passion fruit cordial, lime juice, mint spring, Greek yogurt). While a decent selection of wines by the glass or bottle, Champagne, and spirits completes the offering.
