Found on the ground floor of Jumeirah Emirates Towers Boulevard, The Nice Guy is a cosy and welcoming restaurant with an Italian menu.
First opened in West Hollywood, October 2022 saw The Nice Guy’s first foray into the overseas market, setting up in Dubai’s swanky Financial District. This Dubai outpost holds the same key design attributes as its Hollywood counterpart, combining modern design with cosy wood panelling, low hanging pendant lighting and sunny yellow booth seating. The restaurant also has an extended outdoor terrace area so there is plenty of space for those wanting to dine al fresco.
The menu is filled with Italian classics with an added something special, including starters such as saffron arancini served with provolone, garden peas and chilli aioli and the beef carpaccio with porcini mushrooms, truffle paste and parmesan. Mains include a choice of freshly made pizzas, along with pasta dishes like the rigatoni vodka served with lobster, shrimp and calamari, or the roasted scallops with polenta, salsa verde and a mustard vinaigrette. The desserts menu is filled with Italian classics like tiramisu, affogato and vanilla panna cotta.
Those looking to enjoy a few drinks will appreciate the carefully chosen and extensive wine menu with plenty of wines served by the glass. Along with a host of cocktails and mocktails freshly made by the restaurant’s mixologists.
The venue also offers an exclusive feeling after hours scene - staying open until 1am Monday to Wednesday and open until 3am Thursdays to Sundays, so perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a late night.
