Greek chef Theo Rouvas matches the decor and style with a menu packed with authentic Greek flavours. With an abundance of great fish and seafood on the doorstep, it’s only natural that the menu at Taverna Greek Kitchen focuses on fruits of the sea. The centre of the kitchen is a large charcoal grill, and Taverna specialises in grilled meat, fish and seafood, from souvlaki and beef ribeye on the bone, to fresh whole grilled catch of the day fish and fish fillets baked in clay.
Elsewhere on the menu you’ll find a variety of cold mezze, fresh carpaccios and salads, and taverna classics like moussaka, gemista (stuffed vegetables with rice and herbs), slow-roasted lamb shoulder and flaming cheese saganaki, where fresh Kefalotyri cheese is flambeed in ouzo and served with marmalade and fresh lemon.
