Referring to itself as one of the most ‘revered’ steakhouses in Dubai, Roda Grill at the Roda al Bustan hotel serves up American style steaks to give you a taste of the United States in Dubai. Similar to much of Dubai, this restaurant prides itself on showing off all its best bits (and there seems to be a lot of them), whether that's preparing its signature steak tartare table-side or inviting guests to watch their steaks being cooked to order at the open theatre-style kitchen.
Decorated to look like a New England steakhouse, complete with dark wood furnishings, panelling and stylish minimalist wall décor, you won’t even feel like you’re in Dubai until you step outside to enjoy the Dubai heat.
A few of the items on the extensive and varied menu include salmon or peruvian ceviche, beef brisket salad, risotto, a plethora of different steaks to choose from (including Wagyu) and a selection of meat and fish cooked on its top-of-the-range grills. When it comes to desserts, the menu is international meaning guests can expect everything from dulce de leche to dark chocolate crème brûlée and cheese platters for those who prefer something savoury after their meal.
The adjoining bar is also great for relaxing in after chowing down on some great quality steaks and is open until the early hours. Here guests can indulge in a range of signature and classic cocktails.
As part of the Roda al Bustan resort, which boasts six restaurants altogether, you can eat at a different one every night if you so wish, but we definitely recommend making some time during your trip to give this New England themed steakhouse a visit. The best part is, if you are a guest at the hotel, your room (and more importantly your bed) is just a few minutes away.
