About Roberto's Dubai
This award-winning restaurant has made a name for itself in Dubai owing to its authentic modern Italian cuisine and slick, hospitable service. The restaurant franchise was created by Mustafa Turgul in conjunction with executive chef Andrea Mugavero and Skelmore Hospitality, who wanted to bring a taste of Italy’s world-renowned cuisine to Dubai’s discerning epicureans with a stylish restaurant whose atmosphere is at once laid-back and spirited.
The a la carte menu is extensive but staff are on-hand to give guidance on any dietary requests and to point out the house signatures. Fettucine Roberto’s is a highlight from the pasta section; served with Canadian lobster, green asparagus and tomatoes, and the oven baked sea bass in a sea salt crust is a fabulous option for sharing between two. Elsewhere other Italian classics include Osso Buco, a slow braised veal shank with saffron risotto and gremolata; and Cacio e Pepe, a simple but tasty spaghetti dish with brunelli pecorino cheese sauce and Sarawak black pepper.
If the selection of desserts is too difficult to choose from then ask for Checkmate and look forward to a tasty selection of mini homemade Italian desserts which are sure to tick all the boxes.
Elsewhere in the sultry Salotto lounge, Roberto’s international bar team are serving up an assortment of classic cocktails as well as an impressive selection of vintage old and new world wines and Champagnes that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning oenophiles. The bar space which stays open until 2am, oozes the cosmopolitan sophistication of Milan whilst offering up spectacular views of the Dubai city skyline. For a pre-dinner Aperitivo we recommend choosing a classic Italian sip such as an Aperol spritz, Negroni sbagliato, or Campari sour. An array of enticing Cicchetti bites are also available in the bar lounge until 8pm – perfect for whetting the appetite.
