About Irish Village - Studio One Hotel
Head to the Irish Village for a respite of traditional pub hospitality in the heart of Dubai, where you will immediately feel at home. Historically renowned all over the world for their friendly atmosphere and character, the Irish Village Garhoud and Riverland are no exception.
The Irish Village in Garhoud boasts a large garden area surrounded by trees and a lake where you can sit and feed the ducks. At The Irish Village in Riverland you can relax on the outdoor terraces, overlooking the slow running river and the gondolas as they pass. The hustle and bustle of the big city is soon forgotten once you step foot in this Irish haven.
Chow down on genuine Irish foods such as traditional stews and cottage pie while you listen to great Irish music entertainment. It’s an experience to be had: basking in the Middle Eastern sun with a cold pint of Irish ale. The extensive menu promises a worthy meal for patrons, to take them on a journey to Ireland, without having to fly there.
The village is a truly authentic experience with paving stone imported from Liscannor in County Clare, from the west coast of Ireland. The décor and props, such as the telephone boxes and shop window curios are also from Ireland. A life-size bronze sculpture of three traditional Irish musicians, created by Austin McQuinn, is a prominent feature in the centre of the impressive village. The Irish staff have been greeting their Dubai patrons with a hospitable smile for years, and the village shows no signs of stopping.
Due to its success, the village has been expanded over the years to accommodate thousands of people during special events and concerts. Some famous musicians such as Sir Bob Geldof have played at the village. Expect some real entertainment with your dinner.
