COOCHINI

Coochini is a restaurant of two parts, with its slightly more low key lunch and dinner service, followed by the after dark hours when the venue turns into more of a nightclub. The interior is generally quite dark and moody, with the use of rich colours throughout like red and emerald green. The room is filled with coloured lights, and various leather seating booths to see settle in for the evening. On the outside, you’ll find a large open terrace with bunting and fairy lights for the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail al fresco..
The food draws inspiration from Persian, Arabic and International cuisine, offering traditional flavours presented in a rustic way. From the Persian side, expect options like kebabs with rice or Khoresh Gheimeh Bademjan which is lamb cooked in tomato and saffron sauce with beans and chips, served alongside rice and soup. Then international cuisine sees options like fried shrimp, fish and chips, and grilled salmon fillet with vegetables. For appetisers you’ll find buffalo wings, potato wedges and masto khiyar - a yoghurt dip with cucumber and dried mint. Then desserts are kept simple with a small choice of cheesecake and ice cream.
To drink, there is a choice of tea, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, including a special charcoal tea which is a vintage tea served with Polaki sweets. For alcoholic beverages, there’s plenty of beer, spirits and shots to choose from. Coochini is a restaurant to spend the entire day, and carry on into the next, as it’s open until 4am, so allows for plenty of opportunity to dance the night away.
