About

Exclusivity and innovation is what Clap Dubai strives for, and with 2,100 Japanese toys hanging from the ceiling; books decorating the bar; interiors of natural woods and stone; and authentic, flavoursome food - Clap certainly achieves its aim.

With multiple different dining areas, guests can eat, drink and socialise at the indoor restaurant, terrace, bar and lounge. As the only rooftop in Dubai International Financial Center, the space provides a seamless transition from indoor to al fresco dining with the Dubai skyline serving up breathtaking views alongside the innovative menu of small plates, indulgent mains and beautifully-presented desserts.

On the menu is a selection of small bites like traditional edamame and seafood dishes before leading onto exciting starters such as the wagyu beef and foie gras gyozas. Alongside the smaller plates, guests can enjoy a premium selection of fresh sushi and raw dishes as well as maki rolls.

Executive chef Renald Epie combines classical French training with his passion for traditional Japanese flavours and techniques. The shoyu chilean sea bass with celeriac puree and serori salsa and the pistachio-crusted baby chicken main courses show-off Clap's exciting definition of Japanese cuisine. With both vegetarian and omakase options available, guests can tailor their visit to make the most of the expertise and skill of the team.

Desserts at Clap show-off just as much of the chef's skills as the main menu does. Delicate, indulgent and inventive; diners will find it hard to pick just one. Clap has solved this problem with their dessert platters, featuring exotic fruits, a selection of traditional Japanese mochi, your own choice of dessert off the menu, served alongside the ice cream of the day and Clap's signature rose snowflakes.

Serving late into the night, guests can soak up the stunning skyline from the ongaku lounge which serves up a specially curated bites menu alongside the cocktail list. Sip on a Japanese take on sangria with nippon sangria, or go for the limited edition highland Rob Roy - but you'll have to be quick as there are only 60 available.
