Residing on an island just off the The Palm Jumeirah you’d be forgiven for thinking that 101 Dining Lounge sits on an island on its own, because it does.
As part of the One and Only resort and located by the private marina, the restaurant has stunning views of the Dubai skyline as well as views of the impressive Palm island.
This smart casual dining restaurant and bar screams luxury. With plush outdoor seating, incredible bee hive like indoor sculptures and dark wood. It’s not just the food that is impressive at 101 Dining Lounge.
Although functioning mainly as a bar, the food menu features the likes of sashimi, lamb rack, squid ink pasta and poached black cod. Mainly seafood, but as you are so close to the sea you can relax knowing it is of the highest quality. If you are struggling to choose what you want to order, the chef recommends charcoal BBQ Octopus with romaine lettuce, piquillos and shallot dressing.
From the drinks menu, try one of the signature cocktails. The ‘Finding Nemo’ cocktail with vodka, aperol, grapefruit and egg white, or the ‘Disco Inferno’ with Patron Reposado infused green chili, pear and mango juice are definitely worth a try. Don’t forget to pop to the Champagne bar for some bubbles to celebrate your night either.
For nights when you are at the bar and get a little peckish, order a few of the 101 bites to enjoy alongside your drinks. You can opt for the beef tartare, king crab hot dog or cheese platter.
